Blur is a great combat racing game but failed to reach its full potential. This game took the standard racing genre and added combat perfectly to give it a unique feel that is exciting...for a while. Unfortunately the AI is difficult to beat despite near perfect racing resulting in rather frustrating matches...lots of frustrating matches. With new ideas such as social networking and online stat tracking, Blur was trying to capitalize by setting itself apart from the competition. Unfortunately the online community is sparse and support for this game has all but vanished due to a lack of support from the developer. Racing fans should give Blur a shot but don't expect much more from the "extra" features.
