New Releases: What upcoming games are you looking forward to?
World at War took a new twist to the CoD series. Taking us back to WWII you play as a Marine on the Pacific front and a Russian on European soil. While not developed by Infinity Ward, this title has a strong developer with their own flavor they inject into the series. Most popularly recognized for the Zombie level available upon completion of the game, World at War opened up its own version of "horde" mode that is still very entertaining. Great graphics and gunplay along with a strong storyline with memorable cut scenes made this a very fun title that I would recommend to any fan of FPS. While it did not have the same raving reviews that Modern Warfare titles experienced, it established itself well in a saturated market of FPS mediocrity.
Side Note: For gamers who follow the gaming industry, it is interesting to notice the development of Treyarch as they continue to evolve the CoD series and develop stronger titles in their resume. Another strong developer in the industry is always a plus in the gaming world.
