Romexus reviews Dead Island (X360)

It has been a long time coming but Dead Island was well worth the wait. Imagine taking GTA or Oblivion and making the setting an island full of zombies....that is Dead Island. This game is a great mix of melee and survival as you travel across Banoi helping survivors in your mission to find what is behind this surprise outbreak. The game plays smooth with a well developed storyline and unique mission opportunities. With different class options, and the ability to play online, this game adds another great option for zombie fans who want an open world apocalypse to explore. The variation of weapons reminds me of Dead Rising and the ability to repair/upgrage/create new tools is a fitting feature that captures the "survive" feeling in the game. I am still working my way through the title but thoroughly enjoy what I have seen thus far.
