Romexus reviews The Saboteur (X360)

Every once in a while a FPS will try something new to make it stand out from the crowd. The Saboteur accomplished this through an artistic twist within Paris during the WWII German occupation. I enjoyed this game a great deal and completed it entirely for the full story. This open world experience had mechanics that employed Assassins Creed style climbing (though not as polished) and decent gunplay that felt natural. As expected there are a series of missions you must take on to sabotage the German forces. Through the destruction of towers, tanks, trains etc. you slowly turn the black and white dreary occupied areas into vibrant colors as the resistance forces take back Paris. Unfortunately there is no multiplayer aspect to enjoy in this game (though it isn't exactly fitting) but the single player is strong enough to support hours of play. If you are looking for a fun change of pace to GTA I would recommend this title to add some flavor to your gamer needs.
